STUDIO STUDIO explores the potential for role reversal between spectator and actor, actor and director. The camera moves through a forced perspective model of a storyboard for a film, following a pull back from a scene in a television show, to a spectator watching the show, to a series of interactions between the spectator and an actress from the first scene. Dialogue and commentary enter through captions. Each scene works to simultaneously imitate and strip away conventions of film such as sound, shot-reverse-shot, captioning, and attention to the screen itself.
